School House Rock is a collection of classic short animations originally aired on Saturday mornings in the 1970s. They all have catchy musical themes and run three to four minutes each. The topics include grammar, science, history, computers, money and American government. Memorable examples include “Interplant Janet (She is a galaxy girl)” about planets in our solar system, “I’m Only a Bill” about the process a bill takes to become a law, and “Conjunction Junction” which teaches kids about conjunctions. Other segments deal with the number 3 (its magic!), verbs, and electricity. The DVD version includes additional segments which never aired.
