Fire on the Amazon is a 1993 low-budget film directed by Luis Llosa, an early effort of Sandra Bullock, co-starring Craig Sheffer. As reported on A&E's Biography on November 18, 2005, in an interview clip with the film's director, the film was a harrowing experience in more ways than one. Bullock was concerned about the canoe she was riding in possibly tipping over and dumping her in dangerous waters. She also did her only "nude" scene wearing strategically placed duct tape, which the director admiringly pointed out was never seen in the film, thanks to the way she positioned herself, thus preserving the illusion. |
